African Vision of Hope is a Christian organization committed to bringing immediate and lasting solutions to children and families living in extreme poverty. We confront the root causes of poverty by providing opportunities to be educated, grow up healthy, develop leadership and economic skills and learn about God’s love.

Our Beliefs
Faith
  • We believe in the Holy Scriptures as originally given by God and divinely inspired.
  • One God exists in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
  • We believe in Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, His atoning death and resurrection.
  • Jesus Christ shed His blood for the salvation of the lost and sinful man.
  • Redemption comes only through believing in Jesus Christ as the One and Only Savior of the world.
Dedicated to the Poor
  • We are committed to being advocates for the poorest children and communities.
  • We desire to seek justice, share hope, relieve suffering and bring life changing transformation.
Stewards
  • We are stewards of the resources donated on behalf of those we serve. We are committed to high standards of financial accountability.

Our History

Over 22 years ago, a ripple was started. From one rented room in a tavern to 6 schools across Zambia, since then, the years have brought incredible waves of change in the lives of thousands of Zambians. Generations have been impacted and poverty has been fought head-on.

In 2003, African Vision of Hope had 23 students, 1 classroom, and served 5,000 meals a year. Last year, all 6 schools totaled 4,680 students in attendance and served over 1,086,792 meals. This is all because of YOU.
